Analyst

This individual is a soon-to-be qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong academic background from the University of Cape Town. He started his articles at a Big4 Audit firm, focusing on retail and IT risk audits, before transitioning to an investment firm where he specializes in independent valuations for private equity. His articles are coming to an end, and he is set to be signed off at the end of June. He describes himself as efficient, analytical and diligent, with excellent communication skills. He tells me he thrives under pressure, managing tight deadlines through efficiency and clear expectation setting. He goes on to tell me he values continuous learning and is eager to expand his knowledge. He says he’s open-minded about opportunities but is particularly drawn to the private equity space, where he hopes to leverage his unique background as a CA(SA) with valuation experience.
