An interesting profile in that this candidate initially studied his BCom in Marketing but from work experience soon learned that his passion and work abilities really fall strongly within the financial realm. Due to that he did a Conversion Course at UCT which is ultimately the 3 years accounting degree in 1 year. This really shows his ability to focus, adjust expectations and adapt. He went on to pass this conversion course as well as his PGD in Accounting Science so that he can pursue becoming a CA(SA). He achieved 1st time passes for both Board Exams and has since gained 5 years Post Articles exposure. With his qualifications as well as his experience he is a very dynamic and commercially built CA(SA) being able to build strong relationships and connect with individuals from all levels. He is based in Durban currently but is committed to relocating to Cape Town and secure a role and a team that he sees himself in long term.
