He presents as a wholesome and well-rounded young man who has recently qualified as a CA(SA), having articled with a Big4 firm and spent a further two years working on clients in the US and Australia. He has always had an interest in the financial markets but is grateful that his training programme had offered him a broad exposure in terms of clients in industries including renewable energy, manufacturing, consumer markets, retail and financial services. When asked about his inherent characteristics, the following come through strongly: resilience, positivity, and level-headedness. As someone who has been involved in sports and voluntary activities throughout his life, he has learnt that nothing is too big or too daunting to overcome. This makes him the calm in the storm of a high-pressure situation, and the light in the dark of a negative atmosphere. He shares that he understood the accounting principles of debits and credits from an early age and is looking forward to embarking on his next role in the nuts and bolts of accounting in a business environment.
