This candidate presents as a strong qualified Professional Accountant with a degree, SAIPA articles and four years post-article experience in a commercial environment. In discussing who he is as a professional, he shares that he is organised, and highly efficient and effective at delivering on his deadlines consistently. He believes in doing everything possible to ensure that every process is optimised to affect efficient and accurate output. To this end he makes use of Excel extensively to develop his own reporting tools and improve on the accuracy of information he needs to supply to managers, directors or shareholders. He believes he has strong numerical and analytical skills with an good mind for operational business processes. While his good time management and tendency to put structure in place speaks to his pure accounting strengths, he enjoys developing his business and commercial acumen skills and in the longer term is ideally looking to work towards his CIMA qualification.
