When interviewing him, he comes across as someone who is down to earth, relaxed and easy going. He communicates well and is engaging. He completed one year of academic articles with UCT where he achieved membership of the Golden Key Society. He then moved to one of the big 4 audit firms where he completed his SAICA articles. He accepted an opportunity abroad and has recently returned to SA. He has gained exposure in a variety of industries such as retail, manufacturing, financial services and many more. When asking about his strengths, he tells me that he feels he can connect with people easily and can manage people from different backgrounds and cultures. When asking what he most enjoyed about his last couple of roles, he tells me that he enjoys writing all the technical papers and doing challenging assumptions for the partners.
