This role is ideal for someone who is immediately available and looking to gain solid, practical experience within a small, busy finance team. You’ll be involved in the day-to-day accounting function and play an important role in keeping the finance operation running smoothly and accurately.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Daily Sage processing, including banking, invoices, journals, and intercompany transactions
  • Accounting reconciliations as required
  • General finance administration support
  • Assisting with payroll processing from time to time
  • Responding to information requests from creditors and internal staff
  • Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks

What we’re looking for

  • Matric (essential)
  • Certificate or Diploma in Accounting
  • Sage processing experience
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Well-organised, reliable, and able to work well in a team
  • Good communication skills

  • This is a six-month contract role
  • The successful candidate must be immediately available
  • The role is full-time and office-based in the Northern Suburbs
