Business Development Consultant – Wealth

Job Description

One of the leading Wealth Managers in South Africa are looking for a Business Development Consultant to support the Wealth Managers and assist them in growing their book. Do you have what it takes to achieve this? If so, then please apply today.

Responsibilities: 

  • Search for potential clients for services offered by Wealth Manager
  • Generate leads and refer to relevant advisors
  • Work with managers to support their business model
  • Contact potential clients to establish relevance of services offered
  • Maintain high levels of administration, complete client documents in the parameters of compliance department
  • Develop an understand the business and services
  • Meet outlined targets set by consultant and team leaders
  • Contact clients when requested and communicate any changes or concerns to consultants
  •  Attend meetings held by Managers and Service Providers
  • Draft and send correspondence to clients and external providers
  • Resolve ad hoc client queries and internal administration requests
  • Liaise with Private Wealth Managers to ensure accuracy of documents and tracking of leads 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of Matric, advantageous Certificates,Regulatory Representative Certification (RE5) 
  • Must have 2 – 3 years relevant working experience
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal 
  • Must have strong administrative skills
  • Financial industry background advantageous 
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to work independently and within a team
