Group Financial Manager

Our client, a well established financial services company, is looking for a Group Financial Manager, for a 6 month contract to join their team. The role requires a highly assertive and results orientated individual who works with a strong sense of delivering quality work and thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the finalisation of the annual audit process
  • Oversee and review the consolidated results to assess the impact of potential risk scenarios
  • Preparation, review and reporting of monthly management accounts, including flash results
  • Monthly Credit and Investment Committee reporting and attending these meetings
  • Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monthly reporting to the Operating Committee
  • Assisting various finance teams with special ad-hoc reporting requirements and requests

Requirements:

  • CA(SA)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Financial Services Sector in a similar role
  • Strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and numerical skills
