Are you a newly qualified CA, looking for an exciting role wihtin the project finance space? I am recruiting for a Junior Financial Manager for my client who is based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Manager, and assist in overseeing the finance team. 

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Financial Manager and oversee the work of the junior team members
  
• Liaise with SARS resolve any issues or queries
• Liaise with financial advisors and building budgets intergrating with financial models 
• Analyse basic and complex monthly bookkeeping, management accountants, payroll for projects 
• Analyse project budgets, ensure accurate and timely record keeping 
• Analyse expenditure and variance analyses on projects 
• Manage consolidations 
• Review group company loan recons 
• Review and comment on monthly management accounts 
• Summarise complex accounting records for clients 
• Analyse and comment on accounting records and prepare financial statements 
• Prepare tax returns 

Requirements:

• Minimum of newly qualified and registered CA(SA) 
• Detail orientated and organized 
• Good report writing skills 
• Good team management and leadership skills
