A direct result of having been a market leader in the financial recruitment business for over 25 years is that we have a brand that has extremely strong relationships with thousands of CA’s and the reputation with clients that employ them, both in SA and abroad. The international relationships have grown to such an extent that we need to build a dedicated team to take over the growing niche of placing qualified Accountants abroad, in countries that are increasingly receptive to the opportunity. Due to a recent retirement, you would take over a desk billing over R1m in the last 9 months and which could easily be double that in the next 12 months. It is highly likely local Restraint of Trades would not apply.
Responsibilities:
- The full 360 degree recruitment cycle on your own profit-making desk
- Business development, client retention and client relationship management
- Candidate sourcing, qualifying and matching
- Candidate retention and relationship management
The ideal candidate has:
- 5+ years’ experience in external professional recruitment at a senior level
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence and ability to engage professionally at all levels
- Commitment to high level of excellence
- Business partnering and relationship building skills
- High level of integrity and work ethic
On average, our consultants have close to 10 years external recruitment experience and each bill over R1 million pa. We don’t have the ability to train newcomers to this industry. We hire senior recruiters with a proven track record and who are solid account managers, exclusively within the financial recruitment space. This superb opportunity would suit someone with a proven business acumen and go getter personality. It requires a skillset way above the ability to simply match CVs as a transactional consultant.
We will not be looking at anyone with less than 5 years external recruitment consultant experience. Our model does not allow us to train up inexperienced people. Our environment is a perfect fit for established consultants with strong business acumen looking to move to Cape Town either from Gauteng or the UK.
