Candidate Profile for a Commercial Finance Manager

A CA(SA), registered in 2020 after passing both qualifying board exams on the first attempt, with over five years’ experience in London commercial real estate finance following an earlier career in South African audit and financial reporting. He is currently a Commercial Finance Manager for a Central London commercial real estate investment and development business, reporting to the Finance Director and managing the outsourced accounting function across a portfolio of SPVs, including statutory financial statements, VAT, cash flow forecasting, and business plan modelling, while supporting debt financing initiatives. He previously held senior accounting and finance management roles for other prominent commercial real estate businesses, preparing statutory accounts, managing financial covenants and investor reporting, and business partnering across leasing, legal, and corporate finance functions. He combines strong technical accounting and financial modelling ability with excellent stakeholder management across investors, lenders, and auditors, and is now looking to relocate back to Cape Town to bring this property finance expertise to a new organisation.
