Corporate Finance Analyst

A commercially minded CA(SA) with a strong investment banking and corporate finance background, complemented by CFA Level I and the Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) qualification. His experience combines a broad technical finance foundation with specialist corporate finance expertise, having completed multiple rotations across management accounting, portfolio reporting, internal audit, credit analysis and corporate finance before progressing into a senior analyst role within an Equity Capital Markets team. Over the past two years, he has gained extensive exposure to capital raising and transaction execution across Sub-Saharan Africa, supporting IPOs, rights offers, accelerated book builds and other equity transactions. His experience spans financial modelling, valuations, pricing analysis, transaction structuring, due diligence, investor presentations, client engagement and stakeholder management, while working alongside executive management teams, institutional investors and legal advisors. He has also developed leadership experience through mentoring junior analysts and coordinating key execution workstreams on complex transactions.
