She completed her SAICA articles at a Big4 audit firm, gaining broad national and international audit exposure across financial services, retail, manufacturing, asset management, and other sectors, including a secondment managing audit teams in London. Since qualifying, she has progressed through a series of senior financial accounting and finance management roles within asset management and insurance, most recently serving as a Financial Manager within a large financial services group. In prior roles she has carried full responsibility for financial reporting, annual financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, managed finance teams, maintained stakeholder relationships with tax and group finance functions, and overseen VAT and income tax compliance for non-life entities. She brings strong technical expertise in IFRS, group consolidations, tax compliance, and financial instruments, combined with proven people leadership, having managed and developed finance teams throughout her career.
