Candidate Profile for a Financial Accountant

A recently signed-off SAICA trainee with a BCom Accounting and over four years’ combined internal and external audit experience, eligible to register as an AGA(SA). Having completed his articles within a smaller accounting practice, he has had exposure to managing audits and projects across a diverse portfolio of private company clients in the logistics, retail, education, technology, legal and manufacturing sectors, under both full IFRS and IFRS for SMEs. His experience spans substantive testing, analytical procedures, control evaluations and audit file completion, together with earlier internal audit exposure within a leading retailer. Known for building strong client relationships and for a curious, inquisitive approach to understanding how businesses operate, he is now seeking an entry-level accounting role outside of audit.
