Candidate Profile for a Financial Accountant & Lecturer

A CA(SA) with a well-rounded background spanning external audit, financial accounting, and financial education across agriculture, manufacturing, government, and non-profit sectors. She began her career at a Big4 firm, where she was part of an audit team recognised with an internal excellence award, before moving into financial accountant roles at an agricultural group and a non-profit organisation. Most recently, she spent four years as an Educator in the Finance and Accounting Department at a private tertiary institution, teaching and developing modules in Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Management Accounting, and Business Strategy, and playing a key role in securing SAICA accreditation for the institution’s Bachelor of Accounting degree. Known for her analytical, first-principles approach and her enjoyment of mentoring others, she is now looking to bring her technical grounding and communication strengths back into a financial accounting or management accounting role.
