Candidate Profile for a Financial Controller

A commercially grounded finance professional, eligible to register as a CA(SA), with three years’ Big4 audit experience followed by over three years as Financial Controller for a manufacturing group is seeking his next career opportunity. Currently he oversees the full finance function, including month-end close, group consolidations, annual financial statements and audit liaison, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, tax compliance and manufacturing finance such as product and stock costing, WIP and variance analysis. He has also led the finance aspects of an ERP implementation, managed foreign currency exposure and forward exchange contracts. During articles he had exposure to both listed and non-listed entities across retail, financial services, oil and gas, healthcare and agriculture.
