Candidate Profile for a Financial Manager

A CA(SA) with a solid grounding in external audit, FP&A and fund accounting, this personable finance professional brings exposure across mining, retail, manufacturing, hospitality and financial services. She completed her articles at a mid-tier audit firm and was promoted to Auditor-in-Charge in her final year. She then moved into commercial finance within a large retail group, where she was finance business partner to the sales, merchandising and marketing teams. In that role she ran the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle, prepared monthly management accounts, presented at Exco margin forums and led the IAS 36 impairment calculations with the Group CFO and Financial Director. She currently reviews hedge fund and private market fund portfolios, overseeing NAV calculations, investor allocations and client communications as Account Manager.
