What you will be doing:

Record all cash receipts and payments accurately in the cashbook
Prepare and reconcile bank statements
Process and allocate funds for expenses and invoices
Investigate and resolve cashbook discrepancies
Support preparation of financial reports and statements
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintain confidentiality and follow internal procedures
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices

Bookkeeper

Oversee the full creditors process and ensure invoices are approved prior to payment

Prepare payment files and load them onto the banking platform
Process supplier payments and update bank allocations
Support supplier reviews and ensure adherence to financial policies
Complete month‑end processes, journals, and reconciliations
Track recurring and outstanding invoices to ensure accurate financial reporting
Manage relationships with trade creditors, resolve payment queries, and issue remittance advice
Drive best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
Oversee the accounts payable audit process and manage auditor queries

A well-established organisation operating in the oil & gas industry is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to strengthen its finance team through a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Deliver accurate, insightful reporting and variance analysis to support business decision-making and performance management
Partner with business stakeholders to improve profitability, margin delivery, cost management, working capital efficiency and cash generation
Support the evaluation of commercial initiatives, strategic opportunities, investments and projects through financial analysis, modelling and business case review and challenge
Conduct post-investment reviews (PIRs) and project lookbacks to assess performance, identify lessons learned and improve future decision-making
Perform root cause analysis on performance variances and support the development of corrective actions where required
Analyse customer, product, channel, terminal and value chain profitability to identify value creation opportunities
Drive continuous improvement in planning, forecasting, reporting, data governance and business performance management processes
Provide ad hoc analysis and decision support aligned to business priorities and leadership requirements
