This is an opportunity to take full ownership of the financial administration for a well-established non-profit healthcare group operating across multiple entities. It’s a hands-on, all-round finance role, covering everything from debtors and creditors through to statutory compliance and management reporting, within an organisation doing genuinely meaningful work.
What you’ll be doing

Managing the full accounting function across multiple entities, including debtors, creditors, payments, journals and reconciliations
Preparing and submitting monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, and overseeing the close process
Monitoring budgets and cash flow forecasts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Overseeing internet banking facilities and petty cash/pay card funding across all entities
Preparing and submitting statutory returns (VAT, PAYE and other applicable filings)
Maintaining the fixed asset register and strengthening internal controls across the organisation
Liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve financial queries and provide day-to-day financial guidance

What you will be doing: 
SAP FI/CO Functional Leadership

Lead and optimise core FI/CO business processes
Drive end‑to‑end SAP FI/CO improvements aligned with finance strategy
Design, implement, and maintain key CO functionalities (cost centres, internal orders, product costing, variance analysis, month‑end processes)
Ensure accurate integration of FI/CO with MM, SD, and PP modules
Support financial reporting, compliance, and audit readiness

Production Planning & MRP Integration

Collaborate with IT, PP, and Supply Chain to optimise integration across FI/CO and PP/MM
Lead product cost planning, cost estimates, and production order costing
Define business rules for MRP‑driven procurement and inventory transactions
Support Material Ledger, actual costing, batch costing, and production variance analysis

Sales & Distribution (SD) Integration

Ensure financial integration of SD processes with FI/CO
Validate financial flows for invoicing, revenue recognition, billing, and CO‑PA
Ensure accurate postings of revenue, COGS, and receivables
Validate pricing procedures and compliance‑aligned order‑to‑cash controls

Project Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

Facilitate fit‑gap analysis, blueprinting, and solution design workshops
Manage FI/CO change requests, UAT, and post‑implementation support
Lead data migration for finance and controlling master/transactional data
Deliver training, support change management, and drive continuous improvement

Additional Responsibilities

Support business planning and forecasting
Produce management and financial reporting
Track KPIs and ensure adherence
Conduct product costing and reporting

Accounting and bookkeeping

Load and process supplier invoices on Xero
Manage customer invoicing across multiple platforms
Import petty cash files and reconcile expenses
Import bank statements and perform regular bank reconciliations
Reconcile creditor accounts and send statements
Send debtor statements and follow up on collections
Process manual journals, including VAT and EMP201 journals
Allocate payments from SnapScan, Yoco, Dineplan, Ikentoo, and Lightspeed

Payroll, HR, and administration

Process weekly wages and monthly salaries
Support HR tasks using the Human Capital Management system
Maintain accurate filing and archiving systems
Respond to email queries and provide general admin support
Load and manage business payments across banking platforms
Complete supplier credit applications
Assist team members with ad hoc admin and finance-related tasks

Reporting and analysis

Maintain and update management dashboards
Report on monthly profitability and performance
Support cost and costing management, particularly within hospitality operations
Report on revenue and cost performance across business units
