Ready to bring financial precision to one of South Africa’s biggest flower growing operations? This one’s for a Financial Manager who wants real strategic influence, not just the numbers. This is a permanent, on-site role based on a farm between Machadodorp and Badplaas, Mpumalanga.
Our client is a major agricultural producer, growing a variety of flowers across farms in the Western Cape and Mpumalanga. With key retail and auction house clients, packhouse operations, and farm partnerships, the group is scaling fast and shifting toward greater control over its own marketing and sales strategy.
As Group Financial Manager, you’ll build and lead the financial backbone behind an ambitious growth and marketing strategy. You’ll work closely with farm managers and report through to senior leadership, translating farm level activity into the accurate, timely reporting that drives strategic decisions. This is a hands-on, high-trust role at the heart of the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Liaise directly with farm managers across multiple sites
- Build and manage a strong, capable finance team
- Design and maintain sound financial systems and controls to support group strategy
- Own budgeting and forecasting accuracy
- Deliver monthly financial and production reporting
- Provide strategic financial insight to ownership and management
What we’re looking for:
- CA(SA) with 3-5 years post-articles experience
- Strong ERP systems experience
- Detail-oriented with sharp problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
